The Heart of Change: Vocation in Movement
17 December 2019
Description
Yoga classes to the Yemeni refugee community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The yoga program involved men and women between 16 and 50 years old in gender separated classes. The aim was to transmit relaxation, meditation and stretching techniques, to build body awareness and emotional reliance within physical movement to mainly sedentary beginner practitioners members of the Yemeni refugee community in KL.
We give a special thanks to Marge for her yoga classes in our community. We really enjoyed it, most people said it was their first yoga class ever, and they liked it! Coordinator - Tangible Association Yemeni Refugees in Malaysia
